Annabelle Hydrangea, or Hydrangea arborescens, also known as smooth hydrangea, is known for its large, white, honey-scented flowers that bloom in early summer. It is a pollinator plant, supporting and attracting bees and butterflies. Smooth hydrangea root was used medicinally by the Cherokee, and later by early settlers, for treatment of kidney stones and bladder infections.
